Abstract:
From Kalamion of Chania comes a cylindrical clay pyxis of early LM III B period ( AAA II ( 1969 ), p. 365, fig. 2 ) with a representation of a kitharodos ( cover plate ). The presence of religious details shows that this concerns a religious subject developed in a sacred area (figs. 1-2).
