The purpose of this study is to analyze the contribution of information and communication technologies in the education of Deaf students. This contribution today, is mainly focused, in the creation of training powerful software, that is to say multimedia software. This software should be designed carefully, based on concrete principles and taken into consideration the needs, weaknesses and abilities of the users. It is pointed out that the involvement of users throughout the process of planning and development is of vital importance for the function, the appropriateness and the effectiveness of the product. Finally, the planning of applications for deaf education is analyzed and the basic elements that concern the evaluation of educational software are presented.
